State-3 government to establish paper factory

HETAUDA: The State-3 government is investing a total of Rs 2 billion to establish a paper factory at Manahari of Makawanpur.

Preparation for Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been taken to establish the factory in collaboration with the private sector.

Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment of State-3, Arun Nepal said that the state government has accelerated preparations for the same.

The State-3 line ministry has allocated Rs 5 million for the preparation of DPR of the factory in the current fiscal year.

Likewise, Yekraj Uprety, chairperson of Manahari rural municipality, informed that they would provide land for the establishment of the factory under the aegis of the state government.
