Seven gamblers held in Chitwan



CHITWAN: Police have arrested seven gamblers along with cash and other paraphernalia from Balkumari Road in Bharatpur Municipality-2 in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, police rounded up Raj Kumar BK, 35, of Tanahun, Saroj Kharel, 35, Kapil Gurung, 35, of Bharatpur-1, Bishal Lama, 31, of Bharatpur-2, Karma Gurung, 34, of Gaindakot-9, Rajan Thakuri,35, of Bharatpur-1, and Eden Gurung, 32, of Lamjung.

Plice said Rajesh Kumar was using his own rented room on the third floor of the house where he was residing, as a gambling den.

Police are investigating the case after taking them under control.
