Shortage of drinking water hits Dolpa people

DOLPA: Annapurna daily has highlighted the acute shortage of drinking water being faced by Dolpa people.

According to the report, locals in Tsu village of Tripurasundari Municipality have been facing dire shortage of drinking water after the sources of water went dry in the winter season.

Locals have to bring water on horses from distant places and even wait for hours to fill up their posts since there are limited numbers of water resources.
