KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has named chiefs of its various 33 central departments.
A party meeting on Friday at Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar settled the matter that remained longstanding following party unification. Ishwor Pokharel has been picked as Chief of the School Department of the party. The meeting had been postponed time and again as the top-notch leaders were divided over the leadership of the department.
Likewise, Narayankaji Shrestha has been assigned the responsibility of Publicity Department, Bamdev Gautam has been given the responsibility of Organization Department, Jhalanath Khanal has been picked Chief of Policy Department and Madhav Kumar Nepal will lead Foreign Department of the party.
The meeting also appointed two joint In-charges each in all the seven provinces.
