ILAM: The District Police Office, Ilam held two people with illegal home-made gun.
The arrested are Ram Kumar Rai, 35, of the Sandakpur Rural Municipality in Ilam and Min Kumar Fago, 27, from the same locality.
According to the District Police Office (DPO), Ilam, the joint mobile team of police from DPO, Ilam and Area Police Office, Pauwa in Paachthar arrested the duo after the police acted on a tip-off.
They were informed about the suspicious activities taking place in the bordering place between Ilam and Paanchthar districts.
Police also seized gunpowder from them. Investigation into the case was underway and the case was filed against them on the charge of possessing illegal arms and ammunition, police said.
