One billion watch India-Pak match



MANCHESTER: India and Pakistan meet in the ICC Cricket World Cup today. The eyes of the world are on Manchester as it’s one of the world’s most-watched sporting events with up to one billion people tuning in across the world.

Both sides have large British fan-bases and there were a staggering 500,000 ticket applications for the match, meaning 25,000 capacity Old Trafford could have been sold out 20 times over. They have since been changing hands for over £2,500 on secondary ticketing sites. (Agencies)
