PM Oli hints at amending Guthi Bill

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Sunday said that flaws in the controversial Guthi Bill, if any, will be amended.

Talking to journalists at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) upon his arrival from the weeklong Europe tour, the prime minister said that the government doesn’t have any intention to dishearten people.

He defended the bill saying that it was brought to regulate guthis.

Refereeing to the main opposition party, PM Oli urged the party not to gain advantage from the protest staged against the disputable bill.
