Finance Minister calls Indian investors to invest in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Minister for Finance Dr. Yubraj Khatiwada has urged Indian industrialists and businesspersons to invest in Nepal. He asked them to invest in Nepal without any hesitation.

The Finance Minister made this call while inaugurating the ‘Nepal-India Franchise Investment Expo and Conclave’ here on Thursday.

The Finance Minister stated that an investment-friendly environment is in place, adding that necessary policy reforms have been made.

‘Nepal is a suitable destination for investment,” he said, “The law related to foreign investment and technology transfer has been implemented,” the Finance Minister informed.
