Obamas will have a memorable stay at Martha’s Vineyard Mansion

WASHINGTON: Former US President Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama recently bought a gorgeous mansion at Martha’s Vineyard, a Massachusetts island.

The Obamas purchased the 6,892-square-foot property from Wycliffe Grousbeck, the owner of the Boston Celtics for $11.75 million.

Situated on 29.3 acres near the Edgartown Great Pond, the striking estate built in 2001, has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a powder room.

It has also an elegant master suite with a fireplace, two guest wings, a sun deck, a two-car garage, a boathouse, and a pool.

The Martha’s Vineyard, a quaint Massachusetts island, was also visited by the Kennedys and the Clintons.

It was an annual vacation destination for the Obama family since Obama’s time in the White House.
