Indian national arrested with drugs in Nepal

JALESWOR: A team of Armed Police Force arrested an Indian national with a huge cache of drugs from Mahottari district on Sunday.

Rakesh Kumar Mahato, 19, was arrested from Matihani Municipality-9 of the district while he was entering Nepal from India carrying the drugs.

Police seized 300 ampoules of phenergan, 294 ampoules of norphine, 295 bottles of diazepam, a watch and 10 kilograms rice from his procession.

He has been handed over to District Police Office, Mahottari.
