KATHMANDU: Member of the House of Representatives, Mohammad Aftab Alam, has been relieved of his parliamentarian position.
He was suspended from the position after the District Police Office, Rautahat demanded his arrest for an investigation into his involvement in a murder case. Alam was arrested from Idris Gate at Rajapur municipality-1, Rautahat on Sunday.
The parliamentarian position of Alam was suspended according to the House of Representatives Regulation after informing Deputy Speaker of his arrest for investigation, stated a release issued by the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
