Viral fever patients in Damauli on the rise

DAMAULI: The number of viral fever has increased recently at the Damauli hospital.

The fever has gripped people, especially children, elderly and expecting mothers. The hospital earlier used to treat between 75 to 100 such patients a day. However, the number has doubled in recent times, informed Chief of the hospital, Dr Sunil Poudel.

Around 200 people suffering from such typhoid, viral fever, diarrhea and respiratory problems visit to the hospital every day.

Dr Poudel said around 40 per cent of the patients are found to be suffering from water-borne diseases.
