Dhangadhi Airport to resume full operation from Dec 17



DHANGADHI: Maintenance of Dhangadhi Airport that has been partially closed for some weeks has been completed by 75 percent.

The airport has been partially closed since November 17 for runway overlay and expansion.

According to airport Chief Tej Bahadur Budhathoki, 75 percent of the work has been completed and the airport will resume full operation from December 17.

Flights have been barred from 3 pm in the afternoon till 7 am next day for runway overlay and widening.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the airport has a length of 1,800 meters and is 60 meters wide. The runway is being widened by two meters on both sides.
