Machhindra beats Brigade Boys 2-0 in ‘A’ Division League inaugural

KATHMANDU: Machhindra Youth Club has made a winning start to Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League Football Tournament.

At the inaugural match played at the Saatdobato-based All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Complex, Machhindra defeated Brigade Boys Club 2-0 on Saturday.

For Machhindra, Yogesh Gurung and Deepak Rai scored in the 30th and 50th minutes of the game.

The club is aiming to lift the title and has roped in star players to the team.

14 teams will be playing a total of 91 matches in the tournament.
