Kulekhani III begins power generation



MAKAWANPUR: Khulekhani III hydropower project has begun test power generation from Monday.

The hydro project based at Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-1 Sanutar has linked its power generation to the national grid.

The project (14 megawatts) was jointly constructed by the Government of Nepal and Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) at the total cost of over 4.63 billion rupees.
