KARNALI: Police have said that a bomb explosion targeting Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, Chief Minister of Karnali State, was a mere rumor.
Deputy Superintendent of Police in Kalikot, Binod Sharma said that the news reports stating that the ‘Biplav’-led cadres exploded a bomb targeting Chief Minister Shahi near the Pachaljharana rural municipality was a rumor.
“We are unaware how the rumor of bomb explosion was spread,” Sharma said.
