DPM Pokharel stresses consolidating lingual unification

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel today emphasized the need to consolidate lingual unification that was initiated by Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya.

Pokhrel also stressed the need to consolidate geographical unification spearheaded by Prithvi Narayan Shah. Addressing a program on the occasion of the 206th birth anniversary of Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya, he said that Bhanu Jayanti and such occasions encourage people to strengthen national unity based on social amity. On the occasion, he also felicitated Rastrakavi Madhav Prasad Ghimire.

Emphasizing on unity among all Nepalis to achieve the national goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’, he urged all sections of the society to be cautious in the wake of some elements trying to spoil unity in the country.
