3 manpower supply agencies were raided: DFE



KATHMANDU: The Department of Foreign Employment (DFE) has raided three manpower supply agencies in the capital.

A team led by Director General Dr Bhishma Kumar Bhusal of the DFE raided Jupiter Overseas P. Ltd., Sky of the World Manpower P. Ltd., and Trust Nepal Overseas on Monday evening raided and seized some documents, said the Department.

Talking to Khabarhub, DG Bhusal said that the DFE would not let anyone go scot free if they were found guilty in putting the Nepali workers in trouble by swindling them.

A case has been filed at the DFE against these manpower companies accusing them of sending Nepali workers to Malaysia by taking Rs 32,000 prior to government’s permission.

The DFE carried out the raid on Jupiter Overseas and Sky of the World following complaints over issues related to free visa, free ticket that cropped up during workers selection.
