KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has wished for peace, prosperity, longevity and happiness to all the Nepalis home and abroad on the occasion of the Nepali New Year 2076 BS.
Giving a best wishes message on Sunday, President Bhandari expressed her confidence that year 2076 would move ahead to achieve the government motto and common goal of all Nepalis- ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.
“I am hopeful that the international communities which love Nepal would cooperate to help realize the motto Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepali,” said Bhandari in her message, wishing the New Year would give more energy to strengthen the historic achievements achieved through a long struggle through good-governance and prosperity.
Reminding that year 2075 BS was successful in formulating new laws as per the federal system and institutional strengthening, the Head of the State urged all the Nepalis to move ahead with high morale.
She has also wished to see the New Year 2076 successful in achieving sustainable peace and prosperity for the country.
