Govt to issue new map soon: Minister Aryal

KATHMANDU: Minister for Land Management Padma Kumari Aryal has said that the government is soon publishing a new map showing Limpiyadhura as the northwestern border point of the country.

Speaking at today’s meeting of the parliamentary International Relations Committee on Friday, Minister Aryal said that the existing map of Nepal has been ‘faulty’ as it has failed to include Limpiyadhura.

According to her, the government was making efforts to correct the error on the map.

She added that the government would soon publish the new map in an appropriate time saying that they are collecting necessary documents for the same.

According to her, the government has already sent a diplomatic note to India on the issue.
