Biplav outfit disintegrated over effective police action: Minister Thapa



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has appreciated police personnel saying that it fully destroyed the outlawed Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav).

Biplav outfit has crumbled and been fully destroyed after the security agency intensified its action, said Minister Thapa.

Speaking at a program held in Kathmandu on Friday on the occasion of convocation ceremony of the new batch of police inspectors, Thapa said the Biplav outfit has bitten the dust due to the effective action of the security agencies.

Meanwhile, Thapa also directed the security agencies to be alert saying that some anti-government aliments are still active in creating anarchy, criminal and sectarian violence in the country.
