BIRATNAGAR: Chief Minister of State 1, Sherdhan Rai, has said the State government was paving way for economic prosperity. He claimed that youths are linked to the programs focused on country’s prosperity.
At a State level seminar organized by Youth and Small Entrepreneurs’ Self Employment Fund here on Thursday, CM Rai however said various problems should be sorted out before investment by the Fund. “Proper atmosphere is required for creating employments for youths, and their involvement in agriculture for more production,” he added.
According to him, only government efforts are not adequate. Cooperatives could be developed as a major pillar of economic development. Executive Vice Chairperson of the Fund, Dr Prem Dangal, informed that preparation was underway for effective operation of the Fund.
The unemployed youths would be provided loan at low interest, which reduces youths’ exodus for foreign jobs. The Fund has been providing loan to the youths and small entrepreneurs especially for commercial farming, livestock, agro industries, operation of e-rickshaw, traditional skills, and homestay, among others.
