‘Man dies after his firearm goes off accidentally’

UDAYAPUR: A man has died after receiving a bullet from a gun that went off in Katari Municipality-11 in the district on Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Shankar Raut, according to DSP Prem Sagar KC of Area Police Office, Katari.

Raut apparently received a bullet after the homemade gun he was holding went off accidentally while he was out for a hunt in the jungle.

Police said they are investigating the case.
