NCP Chair Dahal hopes of increased Chinese cooperation

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed the hope that the cooperation by the Chinese government will further increase for Nepal’s prosperity.

Dahal said so during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday.

He also expressed gratitude for the goodwill and assistance extended by China to Nepal and the Nepalis, according to Dahal’s secretariat.

Dahal also expressed commitment to furthering the mutual relations between the two communist parties at a new level.

Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi stated that a new era has begun in the relations between Nepal and China after the signing of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

President Xi also said that emphasize has to be laid on the selection of projects and their implementation for the benefit of both Nepal and China.
