Youth arrested with 3 lakh Indian currency



JALESWAR: Armed Police Force have arrested a youth with three lakh Indian currency. A resident of Matihani municipality-8, Raj Kumar Shah, 22, was arrested from the Matihani-Jaleswar road section.

Shah was arrested on Saturday evening during checking of his motorcycle, said Superintendent of Police in Mahottari Nir Krishna Adhikari. The sum was found without any known source of income.

Shah was reportedly involved in illegal exchange of Nepal-India currency. He was handed over to the Inland Revenue Office, Pathlaiya, SP Adhikari said.
