KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Saturday night hosted a state banquet in honor of visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping at Soaltee Crowne Plaza in Kathmandu.
The state banquet was also attended by Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, former prime ministers and Cabinet ministers among others.
Addressing the banquet, President Xi said he was happy at having met his new and old friends of Kantipur city and that Nepal has got political stability and social harmony, with the establishment of peace.
