Nepal Congress condemns attack on its leaders

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has condemned the attack on the leaders of the party during an awareness campaign in Banke by the cadres of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

During a press meet organized at the party’s headquarters in Sanepa on Friday, Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma warned the ruling party not to repeat such incidents in the future.

He said that the NCP cadres attacked the leaders as they have become bewildered for his party strongly raising the issue of corruption from central to local levels.

“An attack on the leaders and cadres of the party is an attack on the party,” he said.
