6 arrested for robbing man at gunpoint in Mumbai



NEW DELHI: Maharashtra police on Friday arrested six persons in Thane of Maharashtra for allegedly robbing a man of Rs 2 lakh at gunpoint.

Police said the main accused Abhimanyu Patil wanted money to celebrate his birthday on September 24.

Patil once worked as the victim’s driver, according to police.

Likewise, another accused, Ganesh Indulkar wanted money for anticipatory bail. They, therefore, made this plan to loot this person. (Agencies)
