Three cops arrested with bribe

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested three police constables with a bribe.

The anti-graft body arrested police constables Devendra Balayar, Aakash Khanal and Niraj Bhandari with Rs 100,000 kickback.

They had demanded the bribe from a service seeker for an insurance claim paper for a vehicle involved in a mishap.

They were arrested from Tokha-10 on Friday, CIAA stated.
