Modi holds ‘extremely fruitful meeting’ with Chinese Prez Xi

BISHKEK: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the SCO Summit here.

The duo discussed the full spectrum of bilateral relations as they vowed to work together to improve the economic and cultural ties.

The Indian Prime Minister said he had an “extremely fruitful meeting” with the Chinese President.

This is the first meeting between the two leaders after Modi’s re-election following the stunning victory of the BJP in the general elections last month.
