4 die as heatwave soars to 50 degree in India

NEW DELHI: Four people died inside a moving train heading for Jhansi from Indian capital  New Delhi due to searing heat in India.

A total of 68 passengers were going back to their houses in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu in a train after visiting Baranasi and Agra, Indian media reports said.

Doctors were called after some passengers fainted. The doctors pronounced them dead.

The temperature has risen to 50 degree Celsius in India. The 45 degree Celsius  is recorded in most of the places of the country including  Allahabad, Delhi, Lucknow.
