KATHMANDU: Qatar Airways will be the title sponsor of the Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League Football Tournament that will kick off on December 14.
A sponsorship agreement was signed between the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and Qatar Airways on Thursday.
As per the agreement, Qatar Airlines will provide USD 150,000 for one year to the national football governing body.
The amount will be provided in two installments— USD 90,000 in the first installment and USD 60,000 in the second installment.
14 teams will be playing a total of 91 matches at the Tripureshwor-based Dashrath Stadium.
The winning team will get Rs five million.
