Govt issues sticker online to Nepali workers from today

KATHMANDU: The government is set to provide an electronic sticker to out-bound Nepali migrant workers from today.

Preparations have been made to label stickers on all forms of work permit. It is expected that this move will curb fraudulent activities and prevent the innocent Nepali migrant workers from being swindled.

Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista has been directing to efficiently provide service to those outbound migrant workers since he assumed the portfolio.

The issuance online sticker is expected to end the ongoing trend of sending Nepali migrant workers via the land of India illegally, said the Department.

Another advantage of the online sticker is that it can be printed from anywhere when necessary.
