NSU demonstrates against India over land encroachment

KATHMANDU: Students of Nepal Student Union (NSU), the student wing of the Nepali Congress, have staged a demonstration against India for encroaching Nepali land on Tuesday.

In a demonstration held in Chahabil, irate protesters hit the streets demanding Prime Minister Oli’s resignation stating that he failed to save nationality and the country’s integrity.

The demonstrators holding placards, banners and the national flag, vented ire over the prime minister for being a mute spectator at a time when India has made public its map including Lipulek, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani which belong to Nepal.

The NSU had staged demonstrated on Friday for the same cause.

Anti-Indian protests are taking place in Nepal after India unveiled a new map including Lipulek, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani on November 2.
