Man dies by falling off a moving minibus

SURKHET: A person died when he fell off a moving bus at Harre in Surkhet district along the Ratna Highway this afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Yam Bahadur Khatri of Bheriganga municipality-4.

He fell off the door of the speeding bus — Ba 3 Kha 5216 – of Madya Pachim Yatayat Pvt Ltd and plunged around 100 meters down the road, according to district police office.

Khatri died on the spot, police said. The driver of the minibus has been arrested for investigation, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabi Rawal.
