One dies, another injured in Jajarkot landslide



JAJARKOT: A teenage boy died while another one got injured in a landslide at Sunauli of Chedchad municipality-5 in Jajarkot district on Wednesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Khadga Bahadur Rawat, 18, of Sunauli in the district while Nim Bahadur Rawat, 17, from the same place sustained injuries in the incident.

The landslide took place as the duo was returning from their neighbor’s house, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Jajarkot.

DPO, Jajarkot’s Sub-Inspector of Police Shyam Bahadur Khatri shared that the injured one was receiving treatment at a local health post.
