Dengue kills 1 in State 2, over 73 infected

BIRATNAGAR: One person has died and over 73 were infected by the dengue virus across State 2.

The deceased has been identified as Ram Narayan Mandal, 31, of Saptakoshi municipality-11 in Saptari district.
All the infected people have been receiving treatment at local hospitals and health institutions, said Bijaya Kumar Jha, senior health administrator at the Directorate.

Following the outbreak of dengue, all districts of the state have launched awareness campaigns.
