NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party of India is to elect a new party chief, Indian media reports have said.

BJP chief Amit Shah has called for a meeting of the party’s office bearers on Thursday in India’s capital, New Delhi.

Reports said that the meeting is likely to elect new post holders within the party. The party members are also likely to elect a new BJP president as current chief Amit Shah has joined the cabinet in the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government as the Union Home Minister. (Agencies)
