IPL remained meaningful: Sandeep

KATHMANDU: Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, who arrived in Kathmandu today, said his participation in this season’s Indian Premier League (IPL) remained meaningful.

“I could learn a lot this time even if I played six matches,” Sandeep told journalists upon his arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) from New Delhi this afternoon.

This season, he said, was comparatively momentous than the last season adding that his participation in the IPL gave Nepal a mileage.

Sandeep, however, said he would not play in the Prime Minister Cricket that begins next week.

In this year’s IPL, he took eight wickets in six games.
