550 youths registered in unemployment list



BAGLUNG: A total of 550 youths have been registered in the unemployment list following a call from the government to register the unemployment youths in the Kathekhola Rural Municipality under the Prime Minister Employment Program.

Out of 550, 245 belongs to Ward No 9, 14 from Ward No 1, 45 from Ward No 2, 100 from Ward No 3, 45 from Ward No 4, 41 from Ward No 5 and 37 youths registered from Ward No 6, Bishnu Deve Gaihre, employment coordinator informed.

The further information will be collected from the mid-May, she said.

A person who has not been employed for less than 100 days in a year and is aged 18 to 59 years can apply for the program.
