Phase VI of Lok Sabha polls gets underway in India, Modi calls for record turnout



NEW DELHI: Voting has begun in 59 constituencies in seven states in India in the sixth round of 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

People have queued at polling booths and voting was underway from 7 am, Indian media reported.

Indian Prime Minister has called for a record voting.

“I hope youngsters are voting in record numbers. After all, their participation makes the polls even more special,” PM Modi tweeted as polling began this morning.
