BHOJUPR: An unidentified group of people torched two ward offices in the district on Tuesday night.
According to police, the ward offices that had been set on fire are Ram Prasad Rai Rural Municipality-2 and Pauwadungma Rural Municipality-3.
The offices were torched after dousing in kerosene, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Nar Bahadur Salami. Documents and furniture of both the offices have been burnt out in the fire, said vice chair of Pauwadungma Rural Municipality-3, Samjhana Rai.
A police team reached the incident sites right after being informed, said Salami.
