China assures of increasing support to Nepal on disaster management

KATHMANDU: Visiting Chinese Vice Minister for Emergency Management Zheng Guoguang paid a courtesy call on Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa.

On the occasion, the Chinese minister assured of further increasing assistance to Nepal on disaster management.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singha Durbar today, they discussed issues related to disaster management in both the countries.

The Chinese Vice Minister also invited Home Minister Thapa to attend the ministerial-level conference going to be held in China soon.

Appreciating China’s support during the devastating 2015 earthquake in Nepal, Home Minister Thapa anticipated China’s support in the days to come.
