Cabinet reshuffling entirely up to PM, says Shrestha

KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has stated that it has seriously taken issues related to the Nepal-India border.

NCP Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha said, “The government of Nepal has already clarified on the border issues between Nepal and India surfaced recently. We have already drawn the attention of the Indian government through the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi, India.”

Emerging from the meeting held at Prime Minister’s official residence at Baluwatar today, Spokesperson Shrestha reiterated that NCP had taken the Nepal-India border issues seriously.

Asked if any decisions were regarding reshuffling of the cabinet and experts in the PM Secretariat were made in today’s meeting, Shrestha responded, “This issue has not entered the meeting yet. It is entirely up to the Prime Minister to dwell and decide on it.”
