SAPTARI: A security squad confiscated five kilograms of banned cannabis from Koshi barrage based in Hanumannagar Kankalini municipality-1 of Saptari on Sunday.
The security team deputed from Armed Police Force Nepal Security Base Bhardaha seized the cache of marijuana.
The marijuana smugglers had fled the scene after noticing the armed police personnel. The marijuana-seized was handed to the Area Police Office, Bhardaha for necessary actions ahead.
