State 2 announces public holiday on Eid al-Adha



KATHMANDU: The State 2 government has announced a public holiday for Monday on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Issuing a statement State 2 Chief Minister Lal Babu Rawat extended greetings on the occasion of the festival of the Muslim community. Also called the ‘Festival of the Sacrifice’, Eid al-Adha is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year.

The Chief Minister has also wished that the festival enriches brotherhood, happiness, and peace in the country and requested to mark the festival with fervor.
