Chances of heavy rainfall in hilly region: MFD



KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of hilly regions.

In a weather bulletin issued for Sunday, the met office said that the weather will remain generally cloudy throughout the country.

“Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places in the country and there are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the hilly regions,” MFD stated.

Similarly, in the night, there are chances of light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning is likely at some places in the country with chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of hilly regions.
