LONDON: Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange has been arrested at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, BBC reported. Assange who had lived in an asylum for nearly seven years to avoid extradition to Sweden over a sexual assault case that has been dropped has been taken into custody, the report stated.

Police said he will be presented before Westminster Magistrates’ Court “as soon as is possible”.
