RJPN announces protest programs

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RJPN) has decided to hit the streets demanding to unveil the report prepared by the commission led by former judge Girish Chandra Lal.

A meeting of the presidium decided to organize various protest programs including demonstration, mass meetings on Friday, informed presidium coordinator Sarat Singh Bhandari.

The RJPN has already informed its party rank and file to this effect, a report in Naya Patriya said.

Earlier, the party had disrupted the parliament demanding to unveil the commission’s report, constitution amendment, release of its cadres including lawmaker Resham Chaudhary, withdrawal of cases filed against them and granting citizenship by descent among others.
