SAG football final: Nepal leading 2-1 against Bhutan



KATHMANDU: Nepal took 2-1 lead against Bhutan in the final match of the men’s football between Nepal and Bhutan under the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) on Tuesday afternoon.

Nepal’s Sunil Bahl scored the second goal in the 53rd minute of the game after the first half ended in 1-1.

At the match being played at the Tripureshwor-based Dashrath Stadium, Nepal took an early lead after Abhishek Rijal scored in the 16th minute of the game.

Bhutan bounced back with a goal from Chencho Gyaltsen in the 36th minute of the game to level the score.
